Interaction Design
You've found the website belonging to April Pierce, senior student of the Interactive Arts and Technology program at Simon Fraser University focusing on design and media arts. To understand whose work you are looking at today, you'll have to understand what "interaction design" is. Defining this program has taken years but here is what April believes it means:

Interaction Design: The process of using human-centered design methodologies while creating projects from graphic to spatial to product design.

At Simon Fraser University Surrey, we're always coming up with new ideas and ways of communicating them. Take a look through the projects presented here and open up your world to the possibilities of interaction design. If you like what you see, feel free to contact April and she'll be happy to discuss all the ideas presented here and more.

This portfolio is going through a redesign! See the process here. The new site will be live this winter.

I worked on the mental health website for Health and Counselling Services at SFU. Take a look at the information model here!
